Welcome to Tendrils and Twigs Hair Spa


Our salon is home to a team of licensed or trained by licensed professionals who have knowledge of both hair and scalp care and stay up to date on the latest trends. When entering our salon, you enter an atmosphere of good vibes and healing energy. Our services always include a relaxing shampoo, hydrating steam treatment, and hair is provided. 


✨ The 2026 For the Love of Locs Offer

This February marks the 8th annual “For the Love of Locs” sale, and this year we're doing something a little different and very intentional.

Instead of a percentage discount, we're offering a flat-rate, all-inclusive protective style service designed to keep things simple, affordable, and healthy for your hair.


Flat Rate: $295 (All-Inclusive)

Deposit: $150 required at booking

This special includes:

  • ✔️ Shampoo

  • ✔️ Professional installation

  • ✔️ Human hair extensions included

  • ✔️ One of four curated protective styles

  • ✔️ Simplified textures and colors for natural blending


This offer is available for a limited number of clients and is first offered to our existing, consistent clients before opening to the public.



Available Protective Styles

You may choose one of the following styles:

1. Bohemian Box Braids

Soft, natural-looking braids with curly pieces for movement and texture.

2. Bohemian Faux Locs

Lightweight locs designed to mimic the look and feel of natural locs without long-term commitment.

3. Bohemian Fulani Braids

A culturally inspired style featuring braids with a signature center braid and decorative patterning.

4. Crochet Extensions

A low-tension protective style using a crochet method for versatility and comfort.



🧵 Hair Patterns Provided

To maintain quality, consistency, and affordability, hair textures are curated and provided by the salon:

Coily (4A/4B)


Curly (3B/3C)

Body Wave

Kinky Straight

These textures are intentionally selected to blend naturally with most hair types and support the goal of authentic protective styling.



🎨 Hair Colors Available

Colors are kept neutral and blend-friendly:

  • Dark Brown

  • Brown

  • Light Brown

  • Brown & Blonde Mix

  • Copper

  • Dark Red

👉 Colors and textures are first come, first served, based on inventory.


💳 Deposit & Payment Policy

  • A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.

  • The remaining balance is due at your appointment.

  • The deposit helps cover hair costs and secures your spot.


⏳ How Long Do These Styles Last?

With proper care:

  • Boho Braids: 6-8 weeks

  • Fulani Braids: 4–6 weeks

  • Faux Locs: 8-12 weeks

  • Crochet Braids: 6-8 weeks

Longevity depends on:

  • Lifestyle

  • Maintenance

  • Sleeping habits

  • Scalp care


🔧 Are Touch-Ups Included?

Touch-ups are not included in the $295 rate but may be scheduled separately if needed.

Most clients will:

  • Refresh edges, perimeter, or full head around week 3–4

  • Get a shampoo and style their extensions biweekly

  • Remove the style once new growth or tension appears


🧴 Care & Maintenance Tips

To protect your style and natural hair:

  • Sleep with a satin or silk bonnet/scarf

  • Oil your scalp lightly 2–3x per week

  • Gently detangle your hair twice a week

  • Avoid excessive manipulation

  • Keep styles dry when possible

  • Do not leave styles in past their recommended timeframe

  • No custom color blends, extreme lengths, or add-ons

  • Style size and length are standardized

  • The goal is healthy protection, not over-manipulation

    This allows us to:

  • Keep pricing fair

  • Stay on schedule

  • Deliver consistent quality to every client


📅 Booking Availability

  • This offer is valid for the month of February and first two weekends of March. Afterwards, this service will be available at regular price.

  • Existing clients receive first access

  • Remaining slots will open to the public

  • First come, first served.

Detailed Care and Maintenance Tips

Taking care of your protective style at home is important to ensure that they maintain their appearance and longevity. Here are some tips on how to care for your protective style:

  1. Don't forget about your scalp: Keeping the scalp and hair moisturized will help prevent tangles, matting and dryness. Use a light oil or mist on a leave-in conditioner to hydrate your protective style.

  2. Handle with care: When detangling the curls of your protective style, handle them gently to avoid unraveling or damaging the hair. Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to detangle any knots, and always start from the ends and work your way up.

  3. Protect your style: To keep  your protective style looking its best, try to avoid sleeping on rough surfaces, such as cotton pillowcases, which can cause matting and tangling. Instead, use a satin or silk pillowcase or wrap your hair in a satin or silk scarf to protect it while you sleep.

  4. Shampoo carefully: When shampooing  your protective style, use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo, and avoid rubbing the hair too vigorously. Rinse thoroughly to remove all shampoo and conditioner, and let your hair air dry or gently blot with a towel. We recommend diluting the shampoo in a bottle with water first instead of applying it concentrated onto the hair.


By following these tips, you can help extend the life of your protective style and keep them looking fabulous.
