Step Two: Preparation and Comfort

On the day of your appointment, your service begins with a deep cleansing shampoo and scalp assessment. This helps soften buildup and gently loosen tangles.

We’ll review your comfort level and budget, and I’ll adapt our pace accordingly. If the session runs long, breaks and meals are provided to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible.

This service is charged by the hour, ranging from $65-$100/hr depending on the total number of hours booked and tailored to your unique situation. Every session is different — some may take a few hours, others a full day or multiple visits.

  • You may experience some pressure or mild discomfort, depending on your scalp’s condition and the level of tangling.

  • You’re welcome to rest, stretch, or pause at any time.

Step Four: Shampoo, Condition & Style


Once your detangling session is complete, I perform a second shampoo and deep conditioning treatment to restore hydration and elasticity. You’ll leave with a simple, beautiful style that we discussed during your consultation - often a protective style or soft blowout.
